President Biden Lands in Area

His first stop on Marine 1 is going to St. John Parish.

The news is finally mentioning Terrebonne Parish. I hope we are honored by his visit. The word’s being used by people working the disaster is that it is worse than Betsy.

Ochsner West Bank Campus Power Restored

According to FOX8, Ochsner West Bank Campus had power restored at 1:13 am on 9/3/21

From Entergy:

Entergy is working to restore power to the following power:
79/197 impacted substations are ready.

Parts of Kenner and Hammond are restored.

Specific restoration times are continuing to be developed.

Port Allen and Pointe Coupe

West Feliciana, Port Allen, West Baton Rouge and Iberville Parishes – today
CBD – Sep 4
BR Metro, East Baton Rouge – Sep 6
Gonzales & Ascension, Chalmette, Denham Springs – Sep 7
Metarie, Kenner, Westbank, Algiers, NOLA East and Orleans – Sep 8

Terrebonne, Lafourche, Grand Isle, St. John, St. Charles, etc – Still in the process of analyzing the system. In many cases, this is a rebuild, not a repair.

Entergy asks for patience.
